Renunciation

Renunciation is not getting rid of the things of this world, but accepting that they pass away.

~Aitken Roshi

James's comment: This is a very true teaching to me that rings in my heart. Whenever I have been able to accept change in all things I have felt the infinite peace of liberation.

Have a great start to the week everyone!!

nice one! i've started meditating for a few seconds on death and impermanence throughout the day. and it's not as morbid as i thought it would be. it actually opens my eyes and makes me appreciate everything.
