The One Appearing in the Many

From his divine power comes forth all this
Magical show of name and form, of you
And me, which casts the spell of pain and pleasure.
Only when we pierce through this magic veil
Do we see the One who appears as many.

-Shvetashvatara Upanishad

James: The One appearing in the many is for me, "God."

"the ONE appearing as many", for me is "me", we are one with all, interconnected. what is before us is our own creation; name, form, pain, pleasure. i am name, i am form, i am pain, i am pleasure. :) that's my 2 cents. good post, keeps the mind working! thanks james!
